Stoneware Bowl

This is a Mid-Century Stoneware pottery bowl. It was acquired in upstate New York in the town of Red Hook. The piece has a rough hued feel to it that comes from being by human hands. You could try matching the markings in the photos below, but be warned. It is a deep rabbit hole of history and stories about pottery. Posers and geniuses alike.

The bowl is one cool vessel. A nice weight in your hands when you pick it up. A beautiful place to trust your important items and mementoes of your day. Built to serve and lovely to behold. If you’re interested in having it,, go here.
